florida
I went to Florida last week. It was great. Today, I would like o talk about the Florida trip. We left Keio last Monday. I woke up at 4:00 am because we had to leave at 4:45 am. It was very early but I was very excited. We went to New ark airport. I have never been to that airport before. Even though it was very early in a morning, there were lots of people there. I checked in with my friends so I get to sit with my friends. It took about 2 hours to get to Orland. I couldn’t sleep in airport because I was too excited. We went to hotel. Our hotel was located in Disney resort. It was very nice hotel. As soon as I left my things in a room, we went to place called typhoon lagoon. It was a huge pool with many attractions. The weather was not good. We played with water slides and I swam with a shark. It was pretty cool. The weather was too cold for me to enjoy. I wished the weather was better. That day, we also went to place called Epcot. Epcot is a place where many country’s traditional foods and things are there. It was very big place. They had nice souvenir shop. We had dinner at Japanese restaurant. I ordered Tonosama combination. Tonosama combination is made up of Gyudon and Teriyaki don and Tempura. It wasn’t bad but it tasted like Daido’s Gyu don. At 9:oo, the fire work had began. But we had to leave because we had time limit to go back to hotel. This is what I did in a first day. I will tell you more about them next time. See you

I have learned about terrorism in political thought class. Japan might be in danger. May be other country will attack. There are lots of terrorism attacks that Japan should be aware of. I will talk about what is dangerous for Japan and what should Japan do to respond to them.
The threat from domestic terrorist group is very big to Japan. In the past, there was a attack from the Japanese religious group. Thirteen years ago, Aum Shinrikyo ha s released a Sarin gas in to Tokyo subway. Aum Shinrikyo is religious cult obsessed with the apocalypse. They release a Sarin gas in a rush hour so it damaged a lot. It killed twelve people and sent more than 5000 people to the hospital. This attack was biggest terrorist attack so far in the modern history in Japan. How they brought Sarin gas to the subway is, one of the Aum Shinrikyo’s member had put Sarin gas in to the bottle and left them in the subway. Eventually, it leaks and damaged a lot. What should Japan do is that first Japan should destroy all religious group that considered dangerous. To do this, Japan has to make their information technology better. By making the technology better, Japan could get a lot of information from many places. That way, we might prevent the terrorist attack. Also, Japan’s government should make subway’s security stronger. Sarin gas was brought in to subway because the security person thought the Sarin gas was just bottled water. By making security stronger, it might disturb privacy. But we have to take a risk to prevent a terrorist attack. All the terrorist attack form the individual happens suddenly. What we can do is that either prevent the terrorist destroy the group or make the security stronger. When the terrorist attack happens, what is important is that how fast the government gets the help. Attack form Al Qaeda is very fearful to Japan. Al Qaeda had attack world trade center in 2001. It damaged US a lot. It killed lot of people. If Al Qaeda attacks Japan, same thing as US will happen to Japan. Japan has lot of tall buildings so Al Qaeda attack city like Shinjuku, it will kill many people. This shouldn’t happen. Japan should be aware. When Al Qaeda crushes to the buildings in Japan, Japan’s government has nothing to do except for getting the help fast as possible. If Al Qaeda attacks Japan in different way like attack with army, Japan should get help from other country to defend Japan. What is really important is that way to prevent the attack. Japan should show Al Qaeda that Japan is neutral with problem with Al Qaeda and US. This might make US little angry but Al Qaeda might stop the attack to Japan. Al Qaeda doesn’t kill anyone with no reason.
What is the biggest fear for Japan is the nuclear attack from other country like North Korea. When North Korea shoots a nuclear bomb, it only takes a few minutes to hit Japan. Way to respond to this is I think Japan should get from the US. Japan should ask US to shoot down the nuclear bomb with US’s missile. I can’t think of any other way to respond nuclear bomb attack. Or what Japan could do is make a peace treaty with country that have nuclear bomb. In that way Japan might prevent the nuclear attack.
I think what is important for Japan to do to save Japan’s life is by preventing the attack. They are only few things that Japan could do when the attack happens. Iran
Have you ever visit Iran? Iran is located in the Middle East and people say it’s very dangerous country because in the news, people are saying Iran has a nuclear bomb and it is next to Iraq so people think Iran is very dangerous. I also had those images. I have been to Iran six or five years ago. And since that, my image had changed completely and I have learned many things at there.
When my parents told me that we are going to Iran, I was very scared and worried because I don’t have good image of Iran. My image was very dangerous country and I thought Iran was having war every time. So that’s why I was very scared. It was very long journey to Iran. It wasn’t that long but it felt it like it will take forever. Some guy took us to house and it was so huge. They had tennis court and swimming pool so it was really big. There were few people at my house who worked for us. I was first very scared of them because they were from Iran and looked very scary but they were so kind to me. So it was very comfortable living there. Not only people who worked at my house were kind. All the Iranian people were kind. Every time I go to shopping, people started to talk to me like “hi” or “how are you? Some times their English is not so well but they tried to talk to me. All the Iranian people are kind and friendly. My impression towards them had changed completely. I have learned how kind Iranian people were and I was making a mistake.
I would like to talk about school I went at Iran. It was very small school. There twenty five students in total including elementary school and junior high school. In recess, all the students play together. I couldn’t believe that because in Japan, I was playing with my age group so it was unbelievable. But time goes on and I was getting use to it. It was actually fun playing with younger people and older people. I took care of younger people and it was tough but it was good experience. My school life at there was really nice even though there were only twenty five people at school. I have learned that taking care of people is really hard and you can have fun even your friends are different than your age.
Iran was very different from my first image. You won’t know that country if you don’t go to that country. Even though the impression of the country is bad, you won’t know until you go there. The country might be very good for you. So this is what I have learned from my journey to Iran.
