nothing to do

right now, i'm in whiteplains. i played tennis in a morning. i had no plan for afternoon so i walked around whiteplains. but now, i have nothing to do. if i were in japan, i might not be bored. i could go anywhere i want. in japan, everywhere is very fun. i wish i could stay in japan for new year. 

winter vacation

right now, i am staying in my coach`s house. yesterday, i was doing nothing untill 7:00pm. i walked around harrison at noon and that is all i did. at night i had tennis practice. it was pretty hard practice. but it was very useful practice. next day i woke up at about 10:00am. in noon, it started snowing. it was snowing very hard. i haven`t seen such a snow since last year. i snowplough around the house. i snow plough at 2:00 pm, when it was still snowing. so few hours later, snow piles up again. so i snowplough again. it was tough work but i kind of enojoyed it. after i snowplough, i played tennis. i am enjoying winter vacation so far.

last day of school

Today is the last day of school. Next time I’m back in 2009. Lots of thing happened in 2008. I spent first day of 2008 in Japan. I spent time with my parents, my grandparents and my relatives. Then 2008 had started. Beginning of 2008, I was training for tennis season every day. In spring, tennis season had started. Our season started by doing lots of scrimmage game. I won most of scrimmage game. Then league match had started. There were only four teams in our league. Mamaroneck, Rye and Edgemont. We fought them pretty well. Then we had individual tournament and my season was over. Class of 2008 had graduated. I had lots of memory with them so I was sad. Then summer vacation had started. Beginning of summer vacation, I stayed in US and went to tennis camp. I spent more than a month in tennis camp. Tennis camp was like a running camp. We woke up at 6:00am and run to the beach that is like few miles away from where we sleep. Then we took breakfast and run to tennis court that is like 3miles away. We play tennis for few hours and ran again. Then we ran back. I ran a lot that month. It was really tough time. I thought I’ll get killed with all the running. But it was good experience. I was so happy that I could go to Japan because of the tennis camp. In Japan I played with many friends and ha d fun. I wish all my day is like a summer vacation. Then, in end of august, I came back to Keio and, my 12th grade had started. Lots of things had happened in year 2008 and all of those things are my good memory. I wish my year of 2009 will be good.

winter vacation is coming

winter vacation is going to start next week. almost all my friends are going back to Japan but i'm not.

i am staying in US. i am staying in US because i am going to practice tennis. it is sad that you can not meet family or friends in japan but i have no regret that chose the way not go back to japan. i love chrtistmas in japan. city of tokyo will be very beautiful in christmas season. i love the mood in tokyo. last year, i spent christmas with my family. we stayed home and ate cake and spent the night peacefully. but this year will be different. i am staying in my coach's house so i might spent christmas in coach's house. one of my friend is staying with me in US. so i am not alone. i did not stay here for having nice christmas. i am going to stay here to play tennis. spring season is nearby so i have to practice more. i hope the practice will be good and usefull. i am kind of sad that i'm not going back to japan. i hope all of my friends in japan will enjoy winter vacation in japan. see you

thanks giving

last week was thanksgiving. my parent went back to japan before thanks giving so i didn`t do any thing with my parent. instead, i did many things. i played tennis everyday. tennis is spring sports. it seems to be far a head but it really is short time. so i have to practice more. i practiced almost every day in thanks giving but in saturday, i went to manhattan with my friends. we went to soho to eat lunch. we ate in noodle restaurant called setagaya. it was't bad. then we walked aroundsoho. we went to many stores. we spent many hours in soho. it was dark outside so we decided to eat dinner. we went to gyukaku. gyukaku is yakiniku restaurant. it tasted good but it was pretty expensive. after dinner, we went back to westchester. i stayed in my friend's house. then in a morning, we went back to keio and my loving thanksgiving was over. i was sad but i had so much fun. i spent my thanksgiving very nicely see you.

BLUE MAN GROUP

my parent came to US from Japan for parents day. so on satuday, i went to Manhattan with my family. i was pannning to meet with my family at 3:oo so i went to lunch with other people. I went to Ippudo. it is Japanese noodle restaurant. it tasted very good. i felt like i wanted to go back to Japan. in 3:oo, i met my family. i met my sister and my mother. my father is in Japan. we went to see Blue man group. Blue man is group of performer that cover there body with blue color. what they do is mostly play drum. but not usual drum. they used coloful liquid. so when they hit the drum, colorful water splits. it was very fantastic. they used audience too. they take one audience to the stage and do some funny tricks with audience. it was very funny to watch. i had fun watch Blue man group. i wish i could go to see Blue man group again. after we saw Blue man group, we went to Sobaya. it tasted pretty good but i thought it was too expensive. in japan, we could eat more cheap food. after we ate dinner, we ewnt to my sister's house. her house is in brooklyn just like Jeremiah. i spent night in my sister's house. it wasn't bad. i slept very well. i had fun that day.

i have nothin to write about about so i will tell you about myself. my name is shin. i am 18years old. i born in japan. when i was 2 years old, i moved to France. i lived in france for 3 years. i don't have any memories of france because i was young. after living in france, i moved back to japan. i went to japanese elemetary school in tokyo. i went there for 4 years. after living in tokyo, i moved to china. there were many japanese people in china so i played with many japanese kids. i lived in china for 2 years. then, i moved to canada. in canada, i was hit by a car and stayed in hospital for 3 months. i don't have good memories about canada. then i moved to new york. i live in manhattan. i enjoyed living in manhattan. after that, i moved to KEIO. and this is my 4th year of keio life. this is what happened in my life.

all the thing i wrote, it's mostly fiction.

BOWLING

On saturday, I played tennis in a morning. I practiced a lot and played match with other people. It was very useful practice for me. after tennis practice, Iwent to Bowling with my friends. Bowling alley was located in whiteplains. We played three games. i scored pretty well but i couldn't win. I was pretty sad about it. Bowling is really hard. If you throw the ball too softly, you can' hit all the pins. If you throw it too strong, you lose control and you can't hit the pins. I thought it was really hard. But I enjoyed playing bowling. We had fun. After playing bowling, we went to kalbi house. we ate lots of kalbi. it tasted really good. I wish i could eat kalbi all the time. well, all the time is may be too much. any time i want is best. After Kalbi house, we went back to keio. i was so tired with all the activity i did that day so i immediately went to bed. I had fun this day.

saturday morning, I went to harrison high school and played tennis. Last year, I played tennis tournament in Harrison high school so I am very familiar with Harrison high school. I had good practice at there. end of the practice, it started raining. After the practice, I went back to keio. In keio field, Keio soccer team was playing. They were playing against Port chester. when i came to see it, Keio was leading by 1-0. But in loss time, Port chester scored and the score was 1-1. They went to play off. keio scored in play off and won the game. It was awesome!!! i was so excited. I love watching soccer. It makes me feel good. Soccer team went to 2nd round of sectional. Today, Keio soccer team is going to play. I hope they will win. GOOD LUCK

Applebee

In the morning, I had a tennis practice. so I woke up early and get ready for the practice. I practiced for almost two hour. It was very useful pracite. After the practice, me and my friends went to applebees last weekend. we went to the applebee's for lunch. we used bus to go to applebee's. we met okumura and Kaoru at the way to the applebee's. I ordered shrimp parmesan sirloin. it tasted very good. i wish i could eat food like that everyday. I was so happy that I ate steak in applebee's. I can't describe how happy I am in words. After the lunch, we went to Target. I bought shampoo and conditioner. we took bus to go back to Keio. i was so tired so I slept untill dinner. I was unhappy with the dinner becasue eventhough I ate very good steak for lunch, the dinner was awful. I watched drma at night. everyone else was in the gym practicing so I was lonely. I had pretty good weekend. see you

MOMA

Last weekend, me and my friends went to Manhattan again. We woke up early and got prepared. We used train to go to Mnahattan. This time, we went to MOMA. MOMA is Museum of Modern Art. They were pretty interesting. Although, they were some weird art. Art is the world that I could never understand. In the museum there were many art that I thought I could make one of those. Well I think the world of Art is not that easy. You need imagination to make art. people who are good with art have good imagination. It was kind of fun watching those art in MOMA. After we went to the museum, we went to Yakiniku restaurant. It wasn't cheap but it tasted good. After we ate lunch, we walk around fifth avenue and went back to Keio. After i came back to Keio, I watched TV show all night long.

field day

Today was a Field day. We spent all day to do field day. I play for class K. First, we started with basketball. I don't play basketball so I cheer for my class. Our class did pretty well. We went to the final of the basketball game. Then, we played dodgeball. I played dodgeball. Our class defeated all the other class. Eventually, we won the Dodgeball. Next was Hand ball. I also played hand ball. My team lost in second round but other team from class K went to the final. next was Soccer. Our class was strong. two team from our class went to the final so the final is between class K and class K. after that, we had lunch. It wasn't good but it tasted better eating with many other people. After lunch was Volleyball. i was tired so I rest while every one was playing volleyball. Our class didn't do well on volleyball. After the volleyball was final for all the sports. Our class won soccer, basketball and dodgeball. we did good. Our class wins with total point. I am glad that i am part of this class. I enjoyed Field day very much.

theater day

Last wednesday, we went to see a musical "Hair spray". It took about 1 hour to go to the musical. We came to the theater early so teachers let us go around the theater. I went to chinese food restaurant. Yoshitaka ordered dumpling for us. But when the we ordered, we didn't have much time. So one of us stayed in the restaurant and others went back to the theater. we were almost late. But eventually we get to eat dumling. It tasted good. After that we went in to the theater. Hair spary is about old America that talks about racism. I enjoyed it watching. I loved the story, music and everything. I loved the opening where main character Tracy wakes up from her bed and sings. I was very impressed with the actor. I don't know how they sing like that. i enjoyed watching it and i wish i could see it again.

this week

I play not only cross country but also tennis. I play tennis in the spring season. I want to be a good tennis player so i started to wake up in 6:00am and play tennis. I only do this in week day so I thought weekend will be my resting day. But in saturday, we had cross country meet so i woke up in 6:00 am and went to the meet. The meet supposed start at 9:oo am but it changed to 11:30 so i didn't have to wake up at 6:00. Also in sunday, i had tennis match in 7:oo so i woke up at 6:30 and got ready. This week, i couldn't rest that much. But i want to be a good athelete so i have to get use to these schedule.

Last weekend

last weekend, i went to Manhattan. I went to Manhattan with Katsuhiro and Shota. At first we went to SOHO to buy some clothes. We looked at many shops but i didn`t buy any clothes because there weren`t any clothes that I liked. For the lunch, we went to china town. I ate chinese food. It was good. In china town there were lots of fake things. Japanese DVD was sold in china town. After we went to china town, we went to Kinokuniya. Kinokuniya is Japanese book store. we looked at some books. There were very interesting. We went back to Keio after we went to Kinokuniya. By the time we went back to Keio, it was about eight o`clock. i took shower and after that, I played Jinsei game. Jinsei game is a board game which is made just like a human`s life. You get jobs and get married just like a real life. The one who got most money wins. I was in last place but in the last, i gain lots of money by gambling. It was fun. I wish i could have a day like this every day. see you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

New coach

New coach for cross country came to Keio. His name is Tim. He is a trainer of professional football team. He is also a brother of Mr Reynolds who taught us P.E last year. He is a prfessional trainer so his training menu is very helpful for me. I will work hard and get very fast.
